At 43 years old, Stephen combines personal experience, professional knowledge, and a genuine passion for health, fitness, and wellness. As a husband and father to a 3-year-old with a new-born on the way, he understands the balance of family life alongside training and well-being.

His fitness journey began with sports and martial arts but soon grew into a love for strength, performance, and the pursuit of continuous self-improvement. This led him to join HM Royal Marines, an invaluable experience despite not passing selection, before going on to qualify as a Sports and Exercise Nutritionist, earn his Level 2 Fitness Instructor certification, and study towards a degree in Health Sciences.

Stephen has 8 years of coaching experience and also brings 9 years of clinical support experience from Bupa, providing him with a strong foundation in healthcare and a unique perspective on how fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle influence long-term health.

His coaching philosophy is centred on helping clients achieve optimal health and human performance through structured strength and conditioning, alongside guidance on health and nutrition. While resilience, energy, and well-being are always the top priorities, aesthetics usually ranks pretty high on his list too.
